The School of Undergraduate Studies of the College of Transdisciplinary Studies was established in March 2014, under the goal of fostering global talent that specialize in knowledge creation, with the spirit of the 4Cs- creativity, challenge, collaboration, and care.

To this end, the School of Undergraduate Studies of the College of Transdisciplinary Studies practices proactive learning, by identifying the fields of future knowledge that the students are interested in, and using methods designed according to their individual learning ability.

This transdisciplinary educational philosophy based on customized proactive learning includes a robust basic science and basic engineering curriculum as well as laboratory training in small groups. This is complemented by a strong foundation in humanities, social sciences, and philosophy to develop storytelling skills.

In order to effectively implement the various curriculum offerings, the School of Undergraduate Studies of the College of Transdisciplinary Studies is operated as a single school, without traditional majors. We have developed our own teaching materials based on our unique transdisciplinary philosophy, to train students with creativity and curiosity, passion to chart their own paths, and warm hearts to practice leadership rooted in sharing.

The School of Undergraduate Studies of the College of Transdisciplinary Studies was founded with a new approach to education in March 2014, and has infinite potential for future growth.
