Convergence Research Center for Microlaser Technology

Realizing Future Foundational Science with Microlaser Technology Convergence Research Center for Microlaser Technology

Laser Science Technology is one of the most advanced technologies that has various applications and uses throughout the world. The Convergence Research Center for Microlaser Technology investigates characteristics and applications of microcavity laser which has microscopic size and 2-dimensional design two-dimensional microlasers with extremely high finesse values and directionality based on classical and quantum chaos theories and quantum optics. These microlasers will be integrated into other scientific fields such as chemistry, biology, and electronics to develop applications such as chemical sensors, biosensors, and micro-optical communication components.
