Cyber Physical Systems Global Center CPS Global Center

Established in 2012, CPS Global Center aims to leap into a world-class research center through international collaboration with leading scholars in the field of Cyber-Physical Systems. The center conducts extensive research ranging from foundational studies and academic establishment of Cyber-Physical Systems to the development of applied technologies through convergence with other disciplines.

CPS Global Center is the largest CPS research center in South Korea and collaborates with CPS Research Consortium comprising University of Michigan, University of Virginia, University of Pennsylvania, and Carnegie Mellon University. Research areas include Medical & Healthcare CPS, Smart Space CPS, Vehicle & Transportation CPS, and Smart Infrastructure CPS.

  • Performing foundational research on Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) to innovate the convergence of physical systems and cyber systems, characterized by uncertainty and complexity.
  • Proposing a new research paradigm for the 21st century by establishing CPS scientific theories and developing models that overcome existing limitations through the integration of cyber and physical systems.
  • Leapfrogging into a world-class CPS research center through international collaborative research with top researchers in the CPS field, contributing to scientific and societal advancements.
