Students can contact a DGIST professor to discuss research internship individually. If the professor agree to invite the students, they can research at DGIST less than a year with D-2-8 (research study) visa.
Expenses:
Stipend may be paid, partially paid, or unpaid. It depends on the laboratories.
International and domestic travel, transportation, room and board, and all personal expenses, including mandatory medical insurance, are the responsibility of the students.
Lists of labs in respective departments are available at Graduate School
Visa
Students need to obtain a D-2-8 (research study) visa to participate in the program in Korea. In principle, applicants must have a master's degree or higher, but DGIST can invite students enrolled in an undergraduate program in their home country.
