S:Pass, U:Fail, W:Withdraw, I:Incomplete

Grade Handling

  • Credit Recognition : D- or above, and S, are recognized for credit.
  • Failure : F and U indicate failure.
  • Withdrawn Courses : Courses marked with 'W' indicate withdrawal.
  • Incomplete Grades Handling : 'I' indicates incomplete; failure to assign grades within 2 weeks after grade submission results in an F or U.
  • Repeated Courses : Restricted to 'B+' or lower, and once retaken, courses cannot be retaken. Indicated as 'R' in academic records.

Excluded Grades from GPA Calculation

  • Courses evaluated as S-U.
  • Grades obtained from other institutions.
  • Grades transferred from previous schools for transfer students.
  • Withdrawn courses marked as 'W'.
  • Grades obtained by graduate students in undergraduate courses.
  • Grades obtained from joint degree programs.
  • Grades recognized during the transition to integrated master's/doctoral programs.
  • Grades recognized during transfers between majors.
  • Grades recognized upon re-enrollment.
  • Freshman Global Leadership Program (FGLP) grades.
  • Prerequisite Courses (AP Courses).
  • Grades obtained in graduate courses offered during undergraduate programs and recognized in graduate programs.

Attendance

  • 'F' if attendance is less than 3/4 of the total class hours.
  • Public Attendance Recognition
    • Attendance recognized for various competitions and meetings recommended by the President.
    • Recognition in case of natural disasters, military examinations, or other circumstances deemed necessary by the President.

    Submission of a recognized attendance form with signatures from the instructor and the Dean/Director of Academic Affairs to the Academic Affairs Office.

Academic Warning

  • Undergraduate - Dismissal for students with an average achievement of 1.7/4.3 or lower, receiving academic warnings for three consecutive semesters.
  • Graduate - Dismissal for students with an average achievement of 2.5/4.3 or lower, receiving academic warnings for two consecutive semesters.
