The DGIST Human Rights Center protects the human dignityand rights of DGISTin.
DGIST
What we call "human rights" are the rights that must be enjoyed by all people, because everyone is human. We believe that we must respect all human rights, however we have occasionally borne witness to situations in which those rights have been infringed during the many events and relationships that occur in everyday life.
DGIST Human Rights Center protects the human rights that should be enjoyed by all school members. DGIST was formed to realize the dignity and value of people as human beings.
Our human rights center is a place that any member can use if they are being tormented due to human rights infringements, sexual harassment, or sexual assault. It is a channel of communication and protection that works to protect the human rights of members through quick, kind, and fair counseling and incident handling for harm-related issues.
As well, our human rights center aims to provide several different education programs focusing on human rights to allow all of our school members to improve their sensitivity toward and knowledge of human rights.
In this way, we aim to make DGIST a base from which everyone can immediately learn about human rights, take an interest in respecting the human rights of others, and bring these values into the real world.
The DGIST Human Rights Center is striving to create a school culture that accepts human rights as its highest and most important value.
